R.E.Y.L.

About R.E.Y.L.
Our story began with a meeting with Maki Kaji, the renowned Sudoku pioneer, in Tokyo.
Maki and his childhood friends published Japan's first comprehensive puzzle magazine in 1980. During that time, subcultures were flourishing in Japan, and magazines that celebrated individuality were being created left and right. Fueled by youthful audacity and humble expectations, they decided to make their mark in the world of puzzles, bringing logic and enjoyment to their readers.
Despite being amateurs with no prior experience in puzzle-making, they quickly became hooked on creating puzzles. The readers of their magazine spotted their mistakes and started sending in their own original puzzles for publication. Fast forward forty years, their company, nikoli, has grown to become the largest group of pencil logic puzzle creators, boasting over 400 seasoned authors. The New York Times even featured them in "Inside Japan's Puzzle Palace."
Inspired by Maki's vision of fostering a serene space where people can spend time together, R.E.Y.L. is launching a logic puzzle community project.
We upload nikoli's matrix/cross-grid logic and other popular puzzles, which you can access for free once you create your profile. Through an online bulletin board, you can interact with other members of the community.
Additionally, we occasionally host casual 30-minute online R.E.Y.L. rooms, where members can join to solve new puzzles together.
Based on feedback from our members, we have plans to organize online competitions with exciting prizes.
And that's just the tip of the iceberg. With a wealth of meticulously crafted logic content stored on the island of Japan, we are preparing to offer logic fun programs for kids, adults, corporations, and even murder mystery gatherings.
R.E.Y.L. is a vibrant community that offers engaging logic activities not only for strategists but also for creative individuals, practical thinkers, and free spirits.
